Easter Seasons Greeting – Chairman Ife North LG greets Christians.

The Chairman, Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State, Hon Ayoola Ebenezer Adeyeeba on Monday congratulated the Christians in the council area and entire state on the celebration of resurrection of Jesus Christ.

According to Hon Adeyeeba in his congratulatory message issued by the Head of Social Development and Information Department, Mrs Bisi Silas and made available to newsmen, “when we truly love a person from the depth of our heart, we will respect that person and will not want to cause the person pain. Our attitude to life should either show God that we love Him and have Him as our one and only God.

We show God that we love Him by keeping His commandments and by respecting the sacredness of the temple of which we are and represent.

“We must not let our familiarity with God’s house breed contempt, instead, we must try to show God respect by doing that which will please Him and give glory to His name”.

The Ife North Council boss in the message enjoined Christians to learn how to separate between the secular and the sacred, saying they should always work hard to build up themselves in such a way that give due respect to God while His commandments must be prominent above every other thing they may desire in this life.

Hon Adeyeeba who admonished Christians to use the period of Easter celebration to pray for the incumbent government of the state used the medium to commend Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s people oriented programmes describing Mr Governor as a man of peace whose impact in the transformation of new Osun can not be quantified.

The amiable Ife North council boss, adjudged Governor Oyetola as a silent achiever who has touched the life’s of the people of the state positively through his various developmental programs and policies.

” To our performing Governor, i want to use this opportunity to appeal to my people in Ipetumodu and it’s environs as well as the whole state to support our amiable Governor Oyetola in his bid to transform the state to the greater heights”.
